Gaudete! Rejoice! It may seem that we have little to rejoice about this year. But what could be more joy- bringing than the birthday of Jesus, the Son of God? As if to underline the joyful feast that beckons us, today we have our own local cause for celebration – the ordination as a deacon of our own Christian Mahoney. We congratulate him, his wife Esther, and daughters Alessia and Daniela, and seek the Lord’s blessings on his future ministry.
