As this weekend we remember the need for racial justice, we pray that we will always treat others as brothers and sisters irrespective of their race or country of origin………….Lord hear us………..

Let us pray for the repose of the souls of all who have died recently and for the comfort of their families and friends. We remember especially Evelyn Trueman who has died recently.……………….Lord hear us……………

We  remember in our prayers those who are ill, infirm or disabled in any way that they may experience the healing comfort of God and have compassionate care………….Lord hear us…………..

Priest: We turn to the Lord, our help and our refuge, and ask him for all we need.

Reader: We pray for the leaders of the Church, that they will continue to proclaim the word of God to all people, and inspire us to speak up for our beliefs, even though we might fear ridicule and rejection.

Reader: In these uncertain times, we pray for all who govern, that they will have a special concern to protect the weak, the poor and the most disadvantaged in our world.

Reader: We pray for the gift of love: that we may love one another as Jesus has loved us and radiate warmth and friendliness to those around us.

Reader: We pray for the sick, the elderly and housebound, and those in any sort of distress, may they know the healing power of God’s love. We remember especially, Shaun Stone, who will be undergoing transplant surgery this coming week, receiving a kidney from his mother Jane.  May they both make a healthy and speedy recovery.

Reader: We pray for those who have died, that through their faith in Christ, they may be welcomed into God’s kingdom. We remember especially Gerald Dunleavy who has died recently.

Priest: Heavenly Father, confident in your saving help, we offer you all our prayers through Jesus, your Son, who lives and reigns with you, forever and ever. Amen.

In to-day’s reading we are reminded of how together we all form the body of Christ and how we are required to fulfil whatever role the Father has devised for us. Accordingly we turn again to the Father for guidance as to how we should live out Christ’s law

Our response is “Lord we call upon your mercy

We pray for the worldwide church remembering especially our brothers and sisters in Syria and the Middle East who live in constant danger because they choose to follow Christ

Tonight many will sleep on the streets of Cardiff and other cities because they are homeless .We pray for them and the agencies and individuals who work to relieve their plight

We pray….Lord we call upon your mercy

We remember now all the deceased of our Three Churches and mention especially Therese Cunliffe and Valentino Rascon who died recently. May the Lord greet them joyfully and may their friends be comforted in their time of loss

We listen with concern to the discussions between Britain and The European Union regarding our withdrawal and pray for a just and equitable solution which will recognise the needs of all including refugees who struggle to make  homes in a strange country

For a few moments let us listen in our hearts to the voice of our Loving Father

We ask Mary ,our mother, to take up our concerns and join us in our prayers saying Hail Mary ….etc

Heavenly Father, listen to our petitions and and grant them through Jesus your Beloved Son who lives in glory with You and the Holy Spirit forever . AMEN

Priest: On this Feast of the Holy Family we turn to our Father and ask him for our needs.

Reader: We pray for the Church, for its people and for its clergy. May we all help to spread the love of Jesus throughout the world.

 Today we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family. Let us pray that we may be supportive and forgiving in our own families.

Many people feel low at this time of the year.We pray that people who are lonely or depressed may be warmed by the Light of Christ.

We pray for all our Parishioners, friends and relatives who have died and gone before us in faith. We remember especially Nich Pearson whose funeral will take place here on Friday and Paul Grant who has died recently, May they rest in eternal peace.
